The Yellowstone National Park Travel Diary describes a girl's Western trip with her father and aunt in 1915. The family's travels took them through St. Paul, Medora, Livingston, Yellowstone National Park, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Salt Lake and Denver before returning to Chicago. The family spent six days of their trip touring Yellowstone National Park by stagecoach. Descriptions of park features and fellow travelers are brief. Other sites discussed it the diary include the San Francisco World's Fair, the opening of the Panama Canal, and Yosemite National Park.
